About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for Paramedic to join the team at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Paramedic is primarily responsible for providing emergency and primary health care for Jumeirah Guests, Residents and Colleagues. Perform administrative duties pertaining to the provision of health care and operation of the clinic in line with Standard Operating Procedures

The main responsibilities are:

  • Establish staffing guide / standards across all operating departments in collaboration with department heads.
  • Develop, communicate and execute the strategy for labor productivity in the business with support from HR and Finance.
  • Develop KPI dashboard to track improvement.
  • Develop productivity model to introduce regular productivity reporting and reviews in comparison to established standards.
  • Support department heads and managers for all matters related to labor cost management and productivity.
  • In collaboration with hotel L&D team conduct periodic training on systems and tools related to labor management.
  • Analyze actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and advice on corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure hotel payroll cost and productivity standards are aligned and each can influence the other.
  • Lead bi-weekly productivity meeting with concerned department heads to review the actual departmental performance against set productivity standards.
  • Develop program to identify efficiencies in operations (non-payroll related) through detailed review of operational activity and processes using relevant efficiency techniques.
  • Conduct periodic Reviews (Process Reviews) for all processes within the Jumeirah Guest Experience Process Framework and the Guest Experience.
  • Conduct meetings and follow ups related to LQA visits.
  • Being the main contact person liaising with Travel Agents related to their guests feedback and follow ups.
  • Review/asses and respond to all on-line reviews & surveys on our web platforms.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • One to three years of progressively responsible roles within operations or Business Excellence, preferably within the hospitality business.
  • Qualification equivalent to bachelors degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Excellence or Quality Management.
  • Training on Excellence Model and Quality Management System methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of analytical quality tools (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Project Management, Data Analysis) will be an added advantage.
  • Full English Proficiency.
