Your role will be included but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work for all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of house spaces.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize and promptly complete maintenance tasks promptly.
  • Maintain records of maintenance work, equipment manuals, warranties, and track equipment servicing schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, parts and services required for maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaise and provide support to other departments within the hotel.
  • Generate reports detailing maintenance and engineering activities for management review.
  • Address guest concerns related to maintenance and delegate tasks to engineering colleagues as needed.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

  • Preferably candidates with pre-opening hotel experience.
  • High school diploma or certification in hotel management.
  • Proven experience in hotel maintenance, engineering operations or a related field.
  • Familiar with safety regulations, codes, and standards in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in computer software and maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
