Job Purpose
The Consulting Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting the presales team building their Microservices architecture and implement the DevOps practices. Additionally, this role will be bridging the gap between the sales, presales team and the technical team, leveraging expertise to articulate the value and benefits of Global DevOps offerings.

Business Enablement

• Develop a deep understanding of our DevOps solutions, including infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), configuration management, and containerization technologies.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the DevOps space.
• Guarantee the technical applicability of the designed solutions with the technical team with focus on delivering a sustainable solution that fulfils business needs.
• Oversee the quality of the Solution-specific deliverables (Technical proposal, demonstration, presentation, Sales Kit, etc.)
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, through product demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs).
• Testing and validating new cloud services with different architectures by building different testing environment.
• Participate in sale supporting activities to ensure continuity and success in customers adoption, consumption, and further expansion of the companys solutions.
• Monitor and report on sales metrics, such as revenue, pipeline, and win/loss ratios, to identify areas for improvement and to track progress towards sales targets.

Job Specification

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or any related field
  
  

Professional Certifications

• Certified DevOps Engineer
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (Preferred)
• Solution Architect Professional (Preferred)
  
  

Knowledge

• Strong Knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Scripting and programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• PaaS, Containers, Kubernetes and Serverless services
• Cloud Native Apps
• Public Cloud knowledge for platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
