As we grow the GAC Group IT Team, we are actively seeking a Junior IT Security Analyst to bring their technological proficiency to enhance our security protocols.
The team is dedicated to constructing, configuring, maintaining, and enhancing applications throughout their life cycle while safeguarding them against cyber threats.
The primary objective of this role is to concentrate on the continual monitoring of centrally hosted IT Security tools and respond promptly and effectively. Join us on this journey to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond with centrally-deployed IT security tools to alerts raised throughout the GAC Groups 60+ offices around the world, within the given SLA.
- Improve IT Security tools configurations to industry standards to achieve optimal protection from cyber-attacks.
- Coordinate with branch IT teams to improve their security posture.
Job requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity/ IT
Certifications: CEH /CompTIA Security+ / CISA
Technical Skills: Network Security , Endpoint Security , SIEM Tools , Vulnerability Management
Incident Response: Understanding and investigation skills.
Security and Compliance: Knowledge of ISO 27001 would be preferred.
Soft Skills: Analytical, Communication, Problem-Solving
Experience: 1+ years of relevant work experience in IT security roles
