Our clients, MBB, Tier-1, and Big 4 global consulting firms, are currently seeking qualified candidates for the freelance and full-time Project Management Officers (PMO), to work across different sectors in the Middle East.

Duration: Generally 1-6 month projects (sometimes shorter) under a hybrid model, with a minimum requirement of 50-70% onsite presence or (on some occasions) a fully remote model. There are options for full-time engagement too.

Responsibilities:

Planning project management activities, including developing and overseeing plans, prioritizing tasks, assigning team members to specific deliverables, managing and tracking progress, controlling resources, reporting outcomes, etc.;
Managing the deliverables, schedules and facilitating coordination among project stakeholders;
Supporting selected workstreams to ensure successful project execution;
Engaging with senior clients and a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
Drafting new project management office policies and processes, while continuously improving existing ones;
Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as Project Management Officer or in a similar role;
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the field;
Previous experience in management consulting is a plus;
Possession of project management certifications such as PMP and Prince II is a plus;
Must be located in the region or willing to travel to UAE/KSA/Qatar for onsite client presence (on most projects);
Candidates that do not have problems obtaining UAE/KSA visas or residents of these countries are preferred;
Knowledge of Arabic language is not required because all projects are delivered in English, however, this could be an additional asset
