As the Financial Controller at Stella Stays, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting of our organization. This critical role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the organization. Monitor financial performance and analyze variances, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements. Coordinate and manage audits, tax filings, and other financial assessments.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Reporting: Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders, offering clear and concise financial analysis.
  • Infrastructure and Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to upgrade the companys financial infrastructure and processes, focusing on rigor, accuracy, productivity, and data integrity.
  • Monthly Reviews: Conduct monthly business reviews, comparing performance against the annual budget, forecast, and prior years.
  • Business Improvement: Identify opportunities for business improvement, such as new revenue streams, cost-saving initiatives, or strategic investments.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (any certification will be preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards in all our operating markets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
