About the Job:

Act as the custodian of all branding and communication activities and lead the creation and execution of effective customer communications across all channels to ensure promotion of the brand, products and image in line with the corporate strategy.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Brand Design and Compliance

  • Oversee all aspects of the brand identity associated with ADNOC Distribution in branch architecture, communications, applications and advertisements, in order to ensure that the overall branding objectives are achieved, and the right messages are disseminated in line with the corporate guidelines.
  • Formulate and lead the implementation of the brand strategy and identity in line with the overall marketing and business strategy and objectives.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the brand environment are within the corporate brand identity guidelines.
  • Ensure brand compliance and consistency across all ADNOC Distributions offerings, facilities, premises and across media channels.
  • Act as an internal consultant and collaborate with all function to guide and establish internal/external quality standards and ensure alignment with marketing strategic and brand objectives.

Marketing of Products

  • Provide guidance related to brand design and alignment in the development of new concepts and ideas to launch new product offerings to meet unsatisfied demands and improve sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with all marketing teams and product owners to develop advertising story guidelines and communication requirements and collateral for products, services and events that are in line with the brand image.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to turn the selling stories into sales tools to effectively present the brands, products and marketing initiatives to their customers, to support revenue growth.

Management of External Agencies

  • Manage and direct the selected advertising agency to ensure the right messaging and corporate identity are disseminated through the required media arena.

Functional Activity Coordination

  • Coordinate activities of specific functions related to retail, production, sales, advertising, promotion, market research, purchasing, distribution, package development and finance as they input and relate to ADNOC Distributions brand to ensure consistency and alignment.

Market Intelligence, Competitive Position Analysis and Consumer Models

  • Provide consumer insights related to demand and supply in key demographic segments, including regional trends to support informed decision making within the senior leadership team.
  • Analyse competitive brand positioning and recommend appropriate changes to ensure protection of ADNOC Distributions products, services and market share.
  • Develop models to measure customer value, behaviour, loyalty and preferences, creating profitable cross-sell/up-sell and retention opportunities and increasing customer satisfaction.

Relationship Management

  • Manage the development and maintenance of effective key business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities and all sections with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organisation are delivered in the most effective manner

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience in Marketing / Brand Management, of which at least 4 years in a senior professional role, with growing managerial accountability, preferably in the retail sector or in a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC Distributions business objectives, operations and of the regional laws and regulations
  • Regional exposure and retail background are a plus.
